In a world where people no longer believed in HAPPY blogs, when teenage angst ran deep in everyone's veins, a bear was born. His name was Keeping. Brought to life by Grace, the magnanimous consumer, who bought him off one of the many racks full of toys in Kiddy Palace for $6.90 in exchange for a meal ticket from me at Seoul Garden for $11.90++, his birth was nothing much to shout about.
Keeping is a pink cheer bear from the Care Bear Series, and he plans to traverse the world ON a backpack. MY backpack. This is where he spends the most part of his days:
Keeping belongs to several religions, owing to the fact that he has several god-relatives. The range of religions keep him holistically developed, unlike his god-relatives, who think that their individual religions are superlative and therefore only subscribe to one school of thought.
Godfather : Hui Long
Keeping wasn't known as Keeping before Hui Long suggested he should be called Keeping. Hui Long is cute, matured, and immature at the same time. He's smart because if you give him 10 hours, he can almost get full marks for Math Paper 1. But if you give him 3, he'll get close to 30. Tested and proven : Hui Long can't perform for AJC's major Math Paper 1s, except outside of exam conditions.
Godmother : Kathy
Pretty as hell and a superSTART, she is varsely different from Keeping's godfather. For one, she acts cute, rather than looks cute. A talent nonetheless. Heads turn everywhere she goes, and flowers bloom everywhere she passes. She dotes on Keeping ALOT, unlike the godfather who attempted to squeeze the life out of the poor bear when I wasn't looking.
Goduncle : Bryan
Always the guy with the most spastic expression you can ever imagine, Bryan has been extremely doting and showers Keeping with lots of love from his sweaty palms. A guy with lots of opinions but sways like a giant tumble-doll to accomodate those he feels are smart, so much so that he becomes disoriented after merely reading a magazine.
Fairy Godfather : Wenson
Decadence reaches a new level after Wenson comes into the picture, and the picture frame is HUGE. In case you're wondering, he wanted to be the godfather of Keeping upon knowing Kathy's the godmother, but soon after he knew about his other equivalent, he'd rather be a fairy.
So, with 4 very doting people taking turns to care for Keeping's needs, he is now focused on carrying out his task of making the world a better place. In case you didn't know, he thinks in the aftermath of the prelims, people are frantically trying hard to play down their efforts and play up their performances. But let no one be mistaken that we are not in the know. The world will see who's the real Jekyll and Hyde.
Until then, it's not keeping the faith that matters. It's keeping the cheer bear :)
